Job Description: Pure Green Farms is currently seeking a First Shift Harvest and Pack Team Member I who is responsible to perform general labor tasks in growing and packaging leafy greens.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Unloading raw materials and loading finished goods
• Loading raw materials onto automated growing and packaging lines
• Case packing and palletizing
• Assist in first-line trouble shooting of machinery
• Maintain general cleanliness of all workspaces
• Maintain organization of all supplies and supply tables and cabinets Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, open-minded, and positive attitude a must
• Ability and desire to perform and complete 10-hour work shifts
• Ability to adapt and to be responsive in the face of changing and evolving order demands
• Learning and following all food safety and quality policies and procedures
• Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly
• Must have manual dexterity
• Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice
• Former work experience a plus

Working Conditions:

• Working in refrigerated warehouse for prolonged periods where temperature averages 45 degrees
• Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Education/Experience:

• Previous agricultural, warehouse or product process environment experience a plus
• Forklift operator experience/training a plus
• Passion for agriculture and/or horticulture preferred
