As a Sanitation Technician you will be a key part of our greenhouse operations, whose duties are to clean and sanitize the greenhouse harvesting and packing equipment, tools, and facility. Sanitation technicians must be able to work as a team and be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks and in accordance with all safety guidelines.
Education: General high school coursework, required.
Experience: Previous experience performing sanitation or janitorial work, preferred.

Status: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
Schedule:
8-Hour Shift
Modified second shift; from mid-afternoon to late evening (for example, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
Schedule is Monday through Friday, from September through December. The schedule will then return to Sunday through Thursday for the spring and summer.

Utilize cleaning and sanitizing tools to maintain sanitary conditions in harvest and packing areas without equipment damage, downtime, or safety incidents, in accordance with established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Comply with company bio-security plans, food safety requirements, quality assurance standards (GMP, HACCP, FSI, SQF, etc.), and standard operating procedures related to all sanitation and greenhouse tasks.
Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
Complete all assigned tasks as required on the master sanitation schedule.
Complete all sanitation and required SQF documentation.
Safe and proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, which includes using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assisting with the identification and reporting of safety, area, and equipment issues requiring non-routine attention.
Perform other housekeeping and/or janitorial tasks, including trash/waste removal, head-house and/or greenhouse cleaning, etc.
Maintain reliable attendance.
Actively participate in meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
Read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications.
