The Electro-Mechanical Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. They complete preventative maintenance tasks, run medium to large projects, and repair production and facility equipment, according to safety preventative maintenance systems and processes.
Education: Associates Degree and completion of a craft apprentice, or an equivalent number of years of education and related maintenance experience, required.
Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, required.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills as well as PLC, HMI and frequency drive experience, preferred.
Licenses or Certifications: Controls, Automation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, preferred

Schedule:
8 hour shift, day shift
Monday-Friday
On-call with other employees to respond to system alarms.
Will include some weekends and holidays.
Flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.

Knowledge of industrial electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. Examples include control relay logic; voltage control schemes; photo-eyes; distance and pressure transducers; etc.
Ability to use electrical and electronic test instruments as well as a full range of precision measuring tools to perform equipment repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain frequency drives.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance/manufacturing manuals and blueprints.
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/non-scheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform moderate machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
