Greenhouse Technician @ Superior Fresh Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Greenhouse Technician, you will be a key player on the team responsible for the daily operations in our state-of-the-art, organic greenhouse. Your responsibilities will primarily consist of harvesting and packing organic leafy greens (lettuce), along with planting seeds, transplanting plants between grow beds, and daily cleaning of equipment and work areas.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: You must have basic reading, writing, and math skills, and be able to comprehend basic communication.

• Experience: You do not need to have any previous greenhouse experience to apply. However, you must be reliable, punctual, and work well with others as part of a team.

• Licenses or Certifications: None

POSITION DETAILS

• Status: Full-Time, Part-Time (typical average of 28 hours/week), and seasonal positions available

• Schedule:

  • First/Day Shift

  • During the fall & winter, the team operates Monday through Friday. Weekends will be included in the harvest/work schedule again by next spring.

  • Schedule will include some holidays, as the farm does operate 365 days/year.

• Wage Grade: Starting at $14/hour
