The Marketing Coordinator will be the implementer for marketing campaigns, sales events, and promotional directives. Responsibilities include executing strategy, developing vendor relationships, deploying marketing communications, and supporting marketing and sales activities to deliver annual and long-term financial goals.
This team player should be a detail oriented, organized, project manager with a familiarity in marketing channels and communication tools. In order to be successful in this role, the Marketing Coordinator will need to be a collaborative and clear communicator, with a knack for task management and event planning from concept to finish.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field, or equivalent relevant experience, required
2-3 years proven work experience in marketing and/or brand coordination, required
Experience working in the Food industry, perishables preferred but not required
Licenses or Certifications: None
10 hour shift

Maintain and execute consistent brand messaging.
Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
Deploy Public Relations and Media communications to industry contacts.
Work collaboratively with VP of Sales to create messaging and content that grows sales.
Work collaboratively with appropriate staff to create content.
Provide support to sales as needed (delivery of marketing collateral, tours as needed, etc).
Support presentations to a range of prospective customers.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Implement the promotion of company programs.
Attend industry trade shows to accumulate develop industry and vendor contacts.
Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
Supply VP of Sales with reports on event deliverables, campaign key metrics, and budget alignment
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Manage design resources for initiatives that drive brand and sales, in a project management like capacity.
Working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
Basic Graphic design skills and a working familiarity with Adobe InDesign (will not be primary designer but should be capable of text edits and proofing as needed)
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
