Job Description:

As a Microfarm Installation Technician, you understand how important it is for products to be installed efficiently and reliably to get them in the hands of excited customers. You have a passion for plants and top-quality food and are an ambassador for Babylon and our mission. Moreover, having high attention to detail and being well organized are among your strongest skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and install Babylon Microfarms
• Perform maintenance on farms at Customer locations
• Troubleshoot farms if needed either remotely or at Customer locations
• Assemble components and/or Micro-Farms as needed in the factory
• Assist in various process improvement initiatives and tasks
• Thoroughly document work performed at Customer locations
• Perform product upgrades as needed both in the factory and at Customer locations
• Frequently interact with customers, providing top-notch customer service
• Maintain current marketing materials on farms in customer locations
• Follow workflow and schedule
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety legislation and guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to drive a delivery truck (ie: 16’ box truck).
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently, overnight on occasion

• Ability to work on step ladder safely
• Ability to use power tools safely.
• Fluent in English
• Manufacturing or assembly experience is a strong plus
• A passion for plants, sustainability or nutrition

• Strong attention to detail and a good eye and caring for cleanliness
• Both confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
• Experience working in a retail environment or in customer service is an asset
• Google office suite proficiency or ability to quickly learn (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
