To support our dynamic team, we are looking for an Operations Accountant, who will play a key part in ensuring the business is a success through comprehensive modelling, forecasting, cost control and the management of accounts.
Your role:
• You establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• You prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and quarterly/annual budgets
• You provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments and pricing decisions
• You collect and analyse data of the operational costs
• You carry out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analyses
• You model and establish costs of business processes such as production, packaging, shipping, etc.
• You prepare audit reports and present their findings to management
• You recommend changes to the company’s processes
• You support the team in financial matters
Your profile:
• You have a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/auditing/controlling or have comparable training. You have already gained first work experience
• You have excellent organizational skills; budget forecasts are your daily business
• You have very good knowledge of MS Excel; you ideally also have experience in working with an ERP system such as SAP
• You have good communication skills in German and English (both written and verbal)
• Experience in modelling costs of a production operation/ and or in the food production sector is a plus
• You are eager to learn and to take on new challenges
