Senior Software Engineer @ PlantLab Full Time

We are looking for an ambitious C# .Net Software Engineer. You’ll take responsibility in the design, implementation and integration of our software solution worldwide, which controls our automated vertical farming technology.

Our mission is to radically make the food chain more sustainable and shorter. For the development and commissioning of our Plant Production Units (PPUs) we use a combination of both plant and technical knowledge. For our location ‘s-Hertogenbosch we are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who can contribute to the technical side of this combination! Your role

For the role out of our technology worldwide our Development team is looking for an ambitious Senior Software Engineer with flair and the power of persuasion. You will be responsible for designing, programming, implementing and analyzing software modules within our system architecture. You’ll support our C# .Net Software Engineers and take on the role as scrum master within this team. We’re looking for someone who wants to join us in the challenge to scale up our company rapidly and play a crucial part in the future of our software solution.

Your responsibilities and activities will be:

• You are responsible for designing, programming, implementing and analyzing software modules within our system architecture.
• You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum team and play the part of scrummaster.
• You will collaborate with other teams to ensure an integrated solution for hardware & process development.
• You’ll support with the start up of new vertical farming production facilities.
• You’re responsible for the development of new applications & systems, and the improvement and testing of existing applications & systems.
• You will monitor, review, identify and revise complex software defects to ensure a fully functioning software application.
