We are looking for an ambitious C# .Net Software Engineer. You’ll take responsibility in the implementation and integration of our software solution worldwide, which controls our automated vertical farming technology.

PlantLab is growing fast! Will you be growing with us? We currently produce fresh and healthy food worldwide in our indoor farms, which we design, develop and build ourselves. Our mission is to radically make the food chain more sustainable and shorter. For the development and commissioning of our Plant Production Units (PPUs) we use a combination of both plant and technical knowledge. For our location ‘s-Hertogenbosch we are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who can contribute to the technical side of this combination! Your role
For the role out of our technology worldwide our Development team is looking for an ambitious C# .Net Software Engineer. You’ll take responsibility in the implementation and integration of our software solution worldwide, which controls our automated vertical farming technology. We’re looking for a professional with C# development experience and the ambition to further develop their skills.
Your responsibilities and activities will be:

You’re responsible for the implementation and testing of our software, which controls our automated vertical farming technology.

You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum team.

You’ll support with the start up of new vertical farming production locations.

You will monitor, review, identify and revise complex software defects to ensure a fully functioning software application.
Your profile

You have at least a higher professional education (hbo) degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field.

You have 1-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position and have proven experience with C# and .Net.

Preferably you’re familiar with OO, UML, Azure DevOps.

You have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for software development.

You are collaborative, but also take on your own responsibilities. You’ve worked in an Agile/Scrum team before.

You are social, with an energetic attitude.

You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
