Employing over 100 staff between sites in Edinburgh, outside Dundee and Inverkeithing in Fife, we are starting to sell vertical farming towers globally. We are currently increasing our test engineering function and capability and now need to recruit a Test Technician or Test Engineer.
Reporting into the Test Engineering Lead, the Test Technician will join an extended Hardware Engineering function based at our purpose-built Engineering and Innovation Centre in Inverkeithing. Our production is largely outsourced but you will be responsible for final product and assembly test engineering practices and processes. Key responsibilities include:
Ideally you are educated to HNC/HND, degree or Time Served in an Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics discipline. The relevant candidate will have practical test experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, experience testing analogue / digital and mixed signal devices or systems and electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Ideally you have device and test programme fault/debug experience and an understanding of wireless comms design desirable (Bluetooth, snap, zigbee, WiFi).
